Victor Jay Carnes, 51, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on October 19, 2024, from end-stage liver disease. Born on January 31, 1973, Victor was known for his humorous and carefree spirit throughout his life.
Victor graduated from Hart County High School and later established a career as a skilled fabricator and welder, a profession where he was respected for his meticulous work and dedication.
Victor was deeply passionate about his hobbies, which included video games and paintball, activities that reflected his lively and spirited personality.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Alexander and Natasha Carnes; daughter, Katelyn Carnes; brothers, Doug Carnes (Melissa Carnes) and Mike Carnes; and sister, Robin Carnes. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Victor (Jack) Carnes and Ruth Hornback Carnes.
Victor's life was marked by his cheerful demeanor and the light-heartedness he brought into the lives of those around him. His family, friends, and everyone who knew him will miss him dearly.
