Vida Evette Wohlgemuth

Vida Evette Wohlgemuth, age 40, of Cartersville, GA (formerly of Geneva, AL) passed away on May 6, 2025, after an extended illness.

Vida was born on October 24, 1984, in Marietta, Georgia. She was a hardworking and creative soul whose talents touched many - a gifted singer, artist, and master of costume makeup. In recent years she became an avid runner. She was deeply passionate about the cause of ending child trafficking and dedicated herself to making a difference in the lives of the vulnerable.

She is survived by her mother, Teresa Pate; father and stepmother, David and Chyrel Wohlgemuth;

A celebration of Vida’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST at Trinity Church, 2694 St. Highway 52, Geneva, AL 36340. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe page created by the family.

Vida will be remembered for her creative spirit, her compassionate heart, and her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.
