Walter Earl Beaman, Jr.

Walter Earl Beaman Jr, 74, of Toccoa, Ga, born in Springville, NY on December 19, 1951, passed away on February 11, 2026. After his long battle with cancer.

Son of the late Walter Earl Beaman Sr and Mary Katherine (Fultz) Beaman, both of Chaffee, NY. Proceeded in death by siblings, Ida Beaman, Mildred Beaman, Claire Heitman, June Moore, Daniel (Barbara) Beaman, Wilma Lee (Michael) Carter.

Survived by siblings Shirley(David) Sutton, Herbert(Tammy) Beaman, and Brion Beaman.

After attending Holland Central School, Walt joined the US Army, receiving his GED and serving as a mechanic for over 20 years as a Bridge Specialist on the design team in the engineering of floating bridges. For most of his military career he was stationed in Germany and Hawaii.

Leaving the military, he went back to his passion of farming becoming a certified herdsman, birthing 1000's of cattle. He then became an over the road truck driver, working with his brother, then as an owner operator himself, and becoming certified in relocation of heavy equipment, hauling for numerous other companies until retiring in 2014.

Walt was very loyal to those he loved and will be greatly missed by those who love him.
