Will Wesley Tweedy, age 62, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 4:25 a.m.

Born on October 4, 1963, in Jackson, Tennessee, Will was the beloved son of Flossie Bell Cleveland and John Edward Tweedy Sr.

Will was a hardworking man who dedicated many years to the construction industry with WallsPlus Inc. He also owned and operated his own septic business. He took great pride in his work and in providing for those he loved.

A devoted Southern Baptist, Will’s greatest blessing in life was his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose heart was always filled with laughter. He loved to dance, enjoyed having a good time, and was well known for his quick wit and playful trash-talking. His infectious smile, generous spirit, and ability to make people laugh will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Will was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Amber Tweedy.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Ashley Branen, Alicia Tweedy, and Alivia Tweedy; his sons, Will Tweedy Jr. and Danny; his grandchildren, Natalie, Sabrina, Ethan, Brandon, Charity, Camron, Trey, Destiny, Alejandro, Caleb, Jordan, Terriahnna, Davon, and Josiah; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Amber, Cayden, Daisy, and Daxton, with Nisiah and Waylon expected to join the family soon.

Will’s greatest legacy was the love he poured into his family. He leaves behind countless treasured memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who loved him. While his family grieves his passing, they rejoice in knowing that he is at peace with the Lord. His love, laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family will live on for generations to come.

A celebration of life will be held on August 8th at 3pm at 190 hummingbird Lane SE, Calhoun, GA 30701.
