William Troy Lumpkin Jr

William “Troy” Lumpkin Jr. passed away on December 29, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, and was the son of William and Hazel Lumpkin.

He was preceded in death by Julie McEvoy (beloved partner), William Lumpkin (father), Hazel Lumpkin (mother), Barbara Landrum (sister), Connie Cottle (Sister), and Tracy Cottle (nephew).

Troy graduated from Grady High School. He enjoyed good food and good music and loved to talk about both. If Troy called you a friend, you knew you had a friend for life. Troy will be greatly missed.

Troy is survived by Michelle Rhodes (niece), Jacob Landrum (great nephew), Katie Landrum (great niece), Brian Landrum (great nephew), Brianna Landrum (great niece), and several great-great nephews and nieces.

His burial service will be on January 16, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
