Wimlish Owens Jr, 63 years of Cincinnati, OH went to heaven, on December 12, 2024.
He was born June 22, 1961, in Cincinnati, OH, and was the son of the late Wimlish Owens Sr. & Atha (Smith) Thompson.
Wimlish graduated from Akin High School and completed a Vocational Education. He then went on to work for a major organization, OPCMIA Job Corps, where he contributed for over 40 years and helped countless disadvantaged youths. He has received numerous accolades and plaques, one most notable being for his Outstanding Performance PY98 VESIO—1st Quartile Management & Training Corporation Southeast Region. He had a passion for helping young people achieve success and stability.
He will be missed by his loving wife Sondra Owens, “I'll carry your memory with me always, cherishing the moments we shared.” His friends and family. The world is darker without him.
He was also preceded in death by Michael Thompson, Christina Lynn, David, Paula Jackson, Susan Ushery, Dion Smith (nephew), grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
It's hard to forget someone who gave me so much to remember.
As per Wimlish’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
